Roxanne de Bastion – Red & White Blood Cells

Roxanne de Bastion left Berlin for London, armed only with a guitar and a one way ticket. With no friends in the city she surrounded herself with the one thing she knew – music, playing open mic nights, bars and venues across the city, and the country. Influenced by her travels as well as her heroes Lennon, Davies and Dylan, her songs are varied, dynamic and spirited, full of warmth with authenticity and honesty prevailing. Weaving tales of her solitary experiences into the bigger picture this is personal yet everyman, and means she has captured listeners from London, New York, Paris and Berlin…as well as Vietnam and Ethiopia. Her first single Red & White Blood Cells has been on rotation on BBC Radio 6, Q, MTV, and is available for free.
