Rippling with molten beats, Loops by Doldrums is a hooky explosion of glitchy pop and random irregularities that pulse with vibrancy. A chaotic festival of vibrant and instinctive psychedelic dance. Stretching in places, warping in others, and simmering with a thrilling propulsion, the first track from the Montreal producer’s sophomore album The Air Conditioned Nightmare, out via Sub Pop on 6 April, suggests that the depths of creativity run deep with kaleidoscopic intensity.
Airick Woodhead, says of the track ‘This is a song for anyone who has been stuck in a vicious cycle with a partner”. It’s about the emotional intelligence it takes to recognize the pattern and the courage to break free from it.’
