Liz Stott (the band were formally known as Liz & The Lifers) has a very distinctive vocal style, shifting and authentic. The band have a self confessed love of sixties psychedelic bands and nineties Britpop, and in this song have brandished their influences via their own style.
For reference – a liger is the result of a randy lion getting friendly with a nearby tiger.
