Red Bricks is a lovely song, perfect for summer and winter listening alike. Starting slow and melodic, the drops and bridges add to a magical tune that will captivate many listeners, if not all of them. Sometimes the song does sound like it would fit the title sequence of a David Attenborough documentary but, personally, I believe that it is the sort of song that, if it isn’t already in your favorites play list, it’s definitely in your guilty pleasures. I still however find myself wondering, why Red Bricks? Though, I would happily recommend this song to anybody who likes other artists such as Mumford and Sons, The Kooks and Rachel Sermanni.
The calming guitar riffs play perfectly on the ears, mixing with the soft sound of Matty’s voice and harmonising with the crescendo and chorus later in the song. Yeah, I know, my big musical words!  Both the Radio Edit and the Album Version are worth listening to just to follow the subtle differences between them. In fact, if you don’t buy this I’ll be very, very disappointed in all of you!
