Eggshailer by Kent duo Teal has wafts of nineties shoegaze merging with long languorous vocals, a catchy riff that morphs into a simmering bouncing outro, and a simmering groove. It’s a world away from their fuzzy noise rock of latest track Turtongat, but proof that channelling the music and meaning doesn’t have to be confined to genre.
