Whilst not doing anything new, there is a certain magnetism to the Violens, perhaps due to the way they truly can appeal to all tastes. Not in a beige Travis kind of way, but by their musical curiosity which means that whilst other bands like their warped vocals, or some electric beats, maybe some garage guitar riffs and pounding keyboard chords, the Violens prefer to go the full whack and give us the whole enchilada. With a chorus introduced by the soft vocals of ‘I can‘t give a fuck if its truthful‘, this is a song for dancing and despairing. A great opening chapter for their upcoming debut album ‘Amoral.‘
