An abandoned warehouse in Wigan should not be the source of such up beat, almost reggae sounding pop. Each member of Warehouse Riots has his own eclectic taste (apparently John loves electro, Andrew is a pure metal head, Mark influenced by blues and jazz, and Salty is something of an indie darling) and all have been thrown in to the melting pot where some alchemy seems to have taken place to create some flirty, flashy indie pop that twists and teases, all the while sounding like it is sipping on a capri sun. Whilst you wait for them to complete their debut album (working title – Uncomfortable Polar Bear Face) new single Skimming Stones will whet your appetite.
