2:54’s debut album was one of the best of 2012, fuzzy and bristling with drifting grunge. The two sisters, Hannah and Collette, are back, signed to Bella Union, and releasing their new album The Other I on 10th November 2014 Full of ethereal liquidity, Colette’s vocals bristle with gentle languidity, and the whole feel is less angsty and abrasive than previously. From In The Mirror it sounds as though 2:54 have either become worn down or softened, but no less brilliant.
