Foolish Atoms reveal their debut music video for latest single The Harrowed North today, featuring food on fire and steak pies being hammered to bits. Taken from the Kingston-upon-Hull four-piece’s third album, Earth and Ash, out 9th November 2015 on electric blue vinyl and digital, The Harrowed North itself is available from today as a free download via Soundcloud. Crunchy guitars and scattered rhythms evoke the sounds of Fans of Guided By Voices and Pavement. Having been recorded straight to tape, then mastered separately for vinyl and digital, the album has a homely, lo-fi quality while retaining an immediate sound throughout.
