Deliciously laidback slur of a vocal over guitars that tinkle with giveafuck youthfulness, Joy of Romance is the latest tune from High Sunn, the dream pop project of 17-year-old Justin Cheromiah. Based in sunny San Francisco, he seems to have spent his time strumming away. Since the age of 14 he has released thirty singles, EPs and full albums. Hopeless Romantic is the first one to be recorded in a studio, and with his mates too. Recruiting Joe (drums), Freddy (lead guitar) and Ari (bass) the bedroom musings now take on a fully rounded feel, but still capture the cool meanderings of teenage explorations.
