Honeylung – End of Time

‘I’ll be perfect from now on’  shrieks Jamie Batten of trio Honeylung. Come on then, let’s see what you’re made of? Opening with a punk guitar and reggae rhythm (Omri Covo on drums), End of Time is the tune of bratty teenagers who ooze confidence and crash down with candour. Hot on the heels of the success of Wolf Alice et al, and (produced by Michael Smith who also worked with Wolf Alice, Kid Wave and Anteros) this weaves nineties grunge and shoegaze vibes with bold and forceful jumped up melodies and searing bass (Charlie Gardner)  that stomp all over the listener and can’t help but entice. Taken from album Kind Of Alone,  released on October 28th 2016 through RYP Recordings the band will be performing through October and November, including an EP launch party at London’s Lock Tavern on November 15th.

And if that’s not your thing, toe porn might be…
