Describe as ‘neo folk’ Tall Tales certainly have elements of Mumfords et al going on, but it is more the Tall Ships and Bombay Bicycle club quiver that makes Tough Outside into the sun dappled and sweet song that it is. Gently giddy and full of poetic spice, nicely enhanced by the video, that was produced and directed by Callum Goodger, for Plymouth University Arts Degree Show 2013.
