Some psyched psychedelia, some bristling bewilderment and happy hallucinogenics all a great song make, as The Lucid Dream well know. Droning through a feeling of half reality Heading For The Waves flickers and flows steadily, full of short sharp and tantalising flourishes. Recorded in an old textile factory it is full of the sort of uninspiring vista that inspires due to its very grim austerity – art from a level of adversity – and the dreams it instils powerful and panoramic. The original limited edition 500 strong vinyl pressing is long sold out, but check out other options here.
Upcoming gigs…
August 16th: Glasgow 13th Note
September 14th: Hebden Bridge Trades Club
September 28th: Liverpool International Festival Of Psychedelia @ Camp and Furnace
October 3rd: Leeds Brudenell Social Club (supporting The Holydrug Couple)
